CRKT’s My Tighe was designed by custom knifemaker Brian Tighe. The distinctive blade features asymmetrical spine facets, high-hollow grind and a deep belly with recurve. Shaped zytel scales contribute to the knife’s unique appearance.
The My Tighe’s blade is 3.625” and made of 1.4116 stainless steel hardened to 55-57 HRC and available in a high satin finish. The frame-lock folder has an open build with heavy-duty 420J2 stainless steel frames and a 6061 T6 aluminum back spacer. Combo edge models feature Veff serrations that cut through rope and cord smoothly and are easier to sharpen than traditional serrations. The 1091K has a black titanium nitride coating.
Assisted opening (A/O) models use CRKT’s patented Outburst mechanism, which springs the blade fully open after you have opened it 30 degrees. The blade is secured with a liner lock. The My Tighe also features ambidextrous, one-handed opening, a removable Teflon plated pocket clip and CRKT’s limited lifetime warranty.
